Hello! I'm Monique, a Los Angeles, CA native and the proud owner of Butters and Balm. Due to my necessity to have a moisturizer that kept my skin feeling soft and looking radiant all day, as well as, to address the skin issues that my family members were experiencing, such as dark marks and dry, cracked skin, I decided it was time for me to develop my own products. After months of trial and error, and using my family and friends as test panelists, the base formulas for Butters and Balm triple-whipped body butter and lip balm were successfully created.

Originally formulated to be unscented products, due to the requests of my growing customer base, the decision to add delicate scents to select products was made. Listening to the requests of my customers has proven to be very beneficial to the Butters and Balm brand, and to my wonderful customers, I am greatly appreciative.

In addition to operating Butters and Balm, I am a licensed Realtor, Notary Public, and aspiring author. When I'm not in production mode for Butters and Balm, I'm living my life to the fullest while spending time with my son, family, friends, and Shih Tzu, Chewbacca.
